Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser agent agent line to make it easier to detect spam.

Anonymized string created from your email. An email address (also called a bag) can be provided to Gravatar to find out if you are using it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile photo will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to a website, you should avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors can download and retrieve any location data from site images.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata will be stored indefinitely. This way, we can automatically recognize and approve all subsequent comments instead of keeping them in the moderation queue.
